Uh no.

Did they find this guy on YouTube? He has the stage presence of a dead fish.

No Cetera, no Chicago.

Dude is NAILING it, this guy is in the same league as Mickey Thomas. Looks completely live, but I'm not an expert on that. Great mix to my ears.

Stage presence is fine, he fits with the other dudes, you get someone like Janick Gers and it can be distracting.

Trombone dude cracks me up!!

I saw Chicago waaay back in the day before they became limp and it was more like this.

Here is a link to when they start playing (right click, copy video URL at current time)

While this guy might sound closer to Cetera than anyone they've had since, the voice just isn't there as Cetera's voice has that special something which is not reproducible. He looks like he's never been on stage before in his life, however.

It's a shame what many of these bands do to themselves just to keep touring. At this point, there are 3 guys that were actually original members and like 10 guys that are not. They're just cashing checks now.

I absolutely love the original 69-75 Chicago /w Terry Kath. I even dig the late 70s ballads. Even their 1982-1984 David Foster produced era which many OG fans hate, created some amazing classic songs.

That said, I couldn't give a shit about anything they've done post-1984 without Cetera. Just boring and unmemorable. This is worse than that.

I got news for ya. Cetera isn't coming back. Steve Perry isn't coming back. Dennis DeYoung isn't coming back. Lou Gramm isn't coming back. The fuck does any of that have to do with this particular dude in his 70s kinda nailing it? I'll bet if Cetera DID come back, like Perry he wouldn't sound anything close to this. It is possible to just enjoy somebody singing and not be butthurt because it isn't 'your guy'.

None of this is news, especially since Cetera has said he's retired. And I don't want any of them to come back. I just want these dinosaurs who can never walk away and are a shadow of their former great selves to go the fuck away.

And this guy isn't nailing anything. He's 'meh'.

Never been hot, per se. She looked good 100 yrs ago in the Since U Been Gone video. And since the weight loss drug, I’d inject her with my Ozemdick.
