Thank you for the link, it's a wonderful story.
While Sykes is undoubtedly a talented guitarist and songwriter, and one of my all-time favorite musicians, his temperament over the years has proven to present challenges in a band setting.
It's a shame we never got to see him perform live with Sheehan and Portnoy.
I hope the demo material with them is released in its entirety at some point in time.

I don't blame Sykes not wanting to be seen onstage with goofy ass pink bass licking Billy Sheehan. Sykes had a whole different vibe that that clown.
