"Paul sounded awful and I want my money back!", so no one ever. Well, except at a KISS concert.

Over and over the Beatletards just keep providing the answer to the original question.
Yes, he is Sir Paul. Yes, he walks on (frozen) water. Yes, he is a very old man. Yes, he wrote a shit-ton of classic music that will endure forever…
Which is EXACTLY why there is no need to go out there and sound like dog shit. Why not just pick a song that he can still sing? Everyone KNOWS who he is. At this point it’s like people paying to see the liberty bell, not to hear a great singer. If you are 80 and your only hit is “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” you are fucked, but if you have dozens of timeless classics to choose from there is no reason to embarrass yourself. No one expects him to sound like 30-year-old Paul, but why do a performance where you know the conversation is gonna be “oof, Sir Paul sounds pretty bad these days” instead of “what a legend, 80 something and still doing it, bless his heart”.
I mean, we all get older and there comes a time when you keep your shirt on when you’re sitting around the pool.

This. Trying to do shit you simply cant anymore, even though there are alternatives seems endemic to Pauls.Wiseacre wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 11:04 am Over and over the Beatletards just keep providing the answer to the original question.

If this was a video someone recorded at a family get together (like that last Johnny cash video) it would be fine.Wiseacre wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 11:04 am Over and over the Beatletards just keep providing the answer to the original question.

But to go play this on an SNL anniversary show, recorded for posterity is ridiculous.
The Beatle cock suckers just prove how stupid any sort of hero worship is
