He was probably tuning up the next bass to give to geddy and probably jamming along to the song they were playing...risingfarce wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 1:58 amWho you saw was Geddy 's bass/keyboard tech. As a side note, the concert was in a huge arena and the three red balls were suspended from the ceiling - and the supports were green. They looked like giant fucking tomatoes.

Yes, that was Tony Geranios (aka "Jack Secret"). He was Geddy's bass/keyboard tech for years. With the keyboard, he was loading samples that Geddy would then trigger on stage either by foot or using a controller keyboard. Tony never "played" anything behind the stage.risingfarce wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 1:58 amWho you saw was Geddy 's bass/keyboard tech. That is a great clip. It may not sound exactly like the studio version, but it sounds great. Love the crowd in that video as well.FreddyFender wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 9:47 am Big Country - In A Big Country

Sounds fine and they're playing their asses off, but it's got a completely different feel to the studio track.
