I'm listening to the Heavy Bones album. It is cheesy but not a horrible album. Frankie's drums sound great.
But what is the story behind this band? I googled it but couldn't find a good answer.
Was this one of those bands who were put together by a label that was trying to make a supergroup? Like Cleopatra did for years buy just assembling known names from the 80s.
Or were they an actual band that formed on their own, wrote songs, and then got a record deal?

Re: Heavy Bones Question
Interesting.....so it was essentially a solo band that he put together, and then they signed as a band.

Re: Heavy Bones Question
Couple of great songs, bunch of okay tunes. Solid album, great playing by Gary Hoey. Dude was almost a member of Dio, I wonder how that would have turned out.
