AGE IS A NUMBER ... The Godfather of Sunset Strip, Bill Gazzarri died at 66 & Jizzy Pearl turns 67 soon!

I recently was looking at some Gazzarri's posts... and went down the rabbit hole!

Bill died in May of 1991, and he was 66... look at him in those pics, videos, etc... even a decade or more earlier... he looked like a Grandpa!

Now... modern day... Jizzy Pearl, will turn 67... and no, he is NOT your average rock guy... Jizzy is in crazy shape, and holding up as good as anyone in the genre.

It's kind of mind boggling, that Bill was basically in his 50's and 60's when that scene peaked, but it seemed like he was in his 70's or 80's!

Not sure if Bill was a hard-core party animal in his youth, but damn... it's wild to think he died, at the age, that many of the 80's rockers are today!

In Google Images, when you search "Bil Gazzarri cause of death" the first thing that comes up is a photo of him with Stevie Rachelle!

Bill died in 1991. Medicine has come a long way since then. People are living well into their 70's and 80's now. Even Lemmy made it to 70. Mick and Keith are 81!

I'm assuming Bill actually smoked and drank excessively. I don't think that was just an image. However, with his drinks and cigars he almost always had 2 young blondes with him so I'm going to guess that although he died too young, he died happy.

Ive always been amazed at how old some guys were when they got their first record (Jizzy was around 32)
Quiet Riot, Dokken, Autograph were among those that were either late 20s or 30s
As a kid, always had the idea everybody was in the younger 20s getting their deals (nobody told their ages & most of older guys hid it intentionally) & it wasnt until the social media age that you could actually see the real truth .

I mean you gotta figure Bill took alot of early forms of viagra to get it up and that's dangerous for your heart mixed with probably the coke and booze he was shoveling into his body. When him and Fig(Heidi Fleiss's lawyer) were at The Rainbow together it was like 2 Grim Reapers having pizza.

It would be interesting to hear what the real deal was with Bill... was it cocaine and banging porn stars all day or was he just a little drunk in the videos we see.???

As for the topic at hand... If Jizzy let his wig paint grow out he would look a lot older than he does now. The working out helps too.

I've come to respect Jizzy more after watching his channel. He seems like a good dude.
