At least when I do KISS stuff I know I am reliving those great childhood memories I have of being a kid in the ‘70s. Not sure how a grown ass man worships a scary cartoon rock band though.

A 50-something KISS fan that still plays with his KISS dolls casting judgement on music someone else listens to is quite comical. Shows how little self-awareness you have.

Hopefully that's a fuckup on TMZ's part for the credit for the live performance video also in that story.

Dont know the guy, but thought more of him if that vid came from him. Some things you don't do when you're in the circle, and that's quite arguably one of them. If they fucked up, he needs to clean that up as it didn't go unnoticed and doesn't look good

I've never heard anyone say anything but good things about Jason. That's why it was surprising to see him credited under the video of the search announce on the ship. Doesn't come off as his style and was disappointing to see.

Not long after, the credit was gone and the live performance video was credited to him.

So who knows, but wasn't a good look with his name under that particular video.

Personally, in today's world he's a journalist per se, so that is what it is, however, not sure I would have done anything with TMZ around anything within arms length of this, especially if I knew them even casually.

Regarding Jason Green, and some of his content being shared online by other Media Outlets.

I will play along...

First off, Jason Green is a great guy who I have gotten to know fairly well over the last few years.

I also feel that Jason is a hard worker, well informed and presents himself better than most when it comes to these Podcasts, interview shows, and the related.

As for his videos being used by any of these media outlets, I see nothing wrong with that for a few reasons.

First off, he's been acting as a Journalist, Blogger, Vlogger, etc... directly related to this exact thing for some years now.

He's continued to do these, and covers touring, cruises, vacations, theme parks, the convention circuit, being out with Rock Bands, Tour Managing, and showing his followers behind the scenes, which includes the good, the bad and the rest.

More directly, he is on The 80's Cruise right now, and is 1 of the few, if not, the only person directly related to these bands, and it makes sense that he might be targeted (contacted by these outlets for content), as he’s built a name in our community as a ‘go to’ guy for this type of (rock related) content.

There are literally only a small handful of Rock related acts on this cruise ie; Warrant, Dokken, Firehouse and Faster Pussycat. Everything is completely outside the Rock wheel-house, and Jason has interviewed, or done stories on these bands, and most recently, did an extensive interview with Taime Downe too.

With that... Jason also uploaded and shared a Vlog on Sunday during the day, from The 80's Cruise within hours of getting onto the ship. For the record, Jason was also on The 80's Cruise last year, and did several Vlogs related to the event, the shows, and the rest.

Do any of you know how much time it takes to make 1 of these videos? Do you know the time that goes into preparing to do an interview with any subject, be it a music artist, actor, or other, and the time that goes into planning a day of shooting, then editing it accordingly, uploading it to your related Channel, and sharing across Social Media?

Anyone want to guess how much time (hours, weeks, months) that Jason Green has spent doing this to share with his followers... the 498 Videos that are currently on his Youtube channel?

Quick math would tell you, if he spent even an hour per video, that would be roughly 500 hours... or, more than 3 months working a full-time 40 hours per week schedule.

Now consider some of these interviews alone, took 2-3 or perhaps 4 hours of time, to put it all together, and now we're into the thousands of hours of work.

Suddenly, what initially is broken down to 3 months working full-time becomes much more!

Multiply that 500 hours x3 or let’s say, multiplied x4, now that becomes the equivalent of an entire calendar year working full-time.

And anyone want to guess what Jason’s guarantee is, when he decides to shoot content, or do an interview for an artist from Golden Robot Records, or Frontiers Sr1 or Cleopatra Records, or the head honcho at >Insert festival name here<

Anyone want to guess what HIS guaranteed pay is for this?

I will tell you…

It’s ZERO!

Not a F#@king penny….

There is NO guarantee… but… overtime, with his content being monetized, and hopefully some merchandise sales and perhaps a few extras, maybe he’ll be able to live his life, pay some bills, eat some food and keep the lights on for another month.

In addition to working as a TM for Pearcy, and others (Winger, Ratt, etc..) over the years, Jason has made this Video stuff, part of his on-going world.

In other words, his job, and that means it’s his income… for what it's worth.

If Jason Green shared, sold, or perhaps profited ANY money, off of ANY of his videos, whether from YouTube monetization, or a Media outlet licensing his content…. in my eyes, he deserves every F#@king penny of it.

Kudos to Jason Green for the hard work and dedication he has put into his craft, his content, his channel and the related.

The same people talking sh!t about TMZ or the Daily Mail, are the same people clicking on it and reading it, and the same applies for Metal Sludge.

Jason, like me, has done endless work supporting this industry.... he has put in plenty of hard work, long hours, and his current position as a Vlogger or Podcaster, has given this very industry, the related musicians, Record Labels, and the Fans, a ton.... Jason is a good guy and he's proven to be so.

To anyone who wants to hate on the guy for that... feel free... it is a free country, so hate away, and while you're at it, hate me too, because I am #TeamJason
