Vince illness
I know get lots of jokes, but in all seriousness, anyone know what procedure he had to get done and when? They've kept that under wraps for several weeks I haven't heard anything.

Re: Vince illness
It's like when they use "exhaustion" as a synonym for being strung out or in withdrawal as a reason for cancelling tour dates. Vince is most likely attempting to dry out and/or lose weight.

Re: Vince illness
Lap-band surgery, maybe? That might help him lose weight.

I am concerned about him. There haven’t been any recent pics of him at all lately

Re: Vince illness
No one should be doing lap band surgery now that Semaglutide (GLP1) exists. It does the same thing, and helps with addiction symptoms. And it's way safer, especially for someone in their 60s. Really shouldn't be going under the knife at that age unless there's a damn good reason.

Say what you want about his singing, but that guy has been a workaholic forever. Sad to hear he's down at the moment.

You already posted this exact same question a month ago.thunderdan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 5:46 am I know get lots of jokes, but in all seriousness, anyone know what procedure he had to get done and when? They've kept that under wraps for several weeks I haven't heard anything.
Do you think his doctors are going to come here and post the details? There are laws against that.

I actually just assumed poor tix sales. Hopefully all will be well. They just announced a Mexico festival appearance for November.
I still wish Mick was in the band.

Maybe he's making a Hulu documentary about how he lost his voice and apologizing to the fans for not giving them 100% all these years.

Are you regular folk (like Mattley) truly concerned about someone you don’t know personally? I don’t wish him any harm or bad health, but concerned?
I can’t think of a single celeb that would concern me unless we were friends or relatives.

or... the random folks who say things like; "I still wish Mick was in the band."
Ha.... laughable.
When they split with Mick, the amount of ridiculous asshattery (is that a word?) was mind-blowing.
Not a F#@king soul on the planet ever picked Mick as their favorite guitarist or even fave member of Motley.
But... social media is full of stupid people and stupid sh!t.

But saying you want someone in the band isn’t.
Mick was a major part of their sound

With Vince's lifestyle, you kind of worry about liver type illness but anyone who gets to this age has to immediately think about the C word in some way

Based on his recovery time id say its something serious, I predict all Crue shows will be canceled this year and he will not tour or do a residency again.
Re: Vince illness
Mick was always my favorite member of Motley Crue. Lots of my friends as well. *shrug*

Re: Vince illness
At his age and with his hard living, a liver transplant or liver cancer surgery is my estimation. If the Motley shows are either moved or canceled this coming September, I would lean towards the situation being a bit more serious than immediately treatable.

He's also a workaholic. Dude constantly tours. My guess it's at least partly because it is all he knows.Dave Muffstaine wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 2:12 pmYou spelled “alcoholic” wrong.NineteenEightyFour wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 7:34 am Say what you want about his singing, but that guy has been a workaholic forever. I wouldn't be surprised if he's depressed and just keeps busy to keep busy.

He would be ineligible for a liver transplant due to being an alcoholic. No amount of money would get him one, ask Gregg Allman.ParaDime77 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 3:57 pm At his age and with his hard living, a liver transplant or liver cancer surgery is my estimation. Re: Vince illness
That is false. Mayo Clinic and John’s Hopkins will do liver transplant’s for alcoholics. Some hospitals may require 6 months sobriety before such transplant.AliceManson wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 5:29 amHe would be ineligible for a liver transplant due to being an alcoholic.
