Another sneak preview of "Magic Power: All Star Tribute To Triumph", a Dee Snider-sung rendition of the TRIUMPH classic "Lay It On The Line", can be heard below.
Snider recalled: "The first time I heard this song, I was blown away. There's only one Rik Emmett and TRIUMPH. I'm honored to be a part of this!"
On Friday, June 6, 2025, one of the greatest and most successful Canadian rock bands of all time, TRIUMPH, will be honored with a star-studded tribute album. "Magic Power: All Star Tribute To Triumph" will arrive via Round Hill Records.

Waaaay better than I expected. His voice does sound a little "processed" though

Dee has always been a seriously underrated singer. Amazing power and range.

Can't stand Dee Snider, the person and the singer, and his band.
With that said, Dee doesn't have the range that Rik had on the original song. Rik no longer has that range anymore.
The music is fine.

This version is lifeless...
The drums are just too mechanical with no feel...

Triumph is beyond forgettable on every level.........
But I agree that Dee is a much better vocalist than what the one dimensional Twisted Sister catalog would have you believe.
