Metallica have remastered their 1996 album, Load, for a 301-song reissue that includes 245 unreleased tracks. Within the complete box set are 15 CDs of demos, rarities, outtakes, alternate versions, and three full live albums; a 128-page book; four DVDs including concert, studio, and TV footage; and various merch knickknacks, along with the remastered album on a double-LP. The full version of “The Outlaw Torn”—originally abridged to fit on the album—also features for the first time. A standalone 3xCD set comprising 41 songs is also available. Check out the 233-song tracklist for the digital box set below. All the formats are out June 13 via Blackened.

$279 is a great deal for all that compared to what a lot of bands charge. GNR did their deluxe Appetite reissue years ago and it was like $500 for not even 1/4 of what Metallica puts out.

The rehearsals of "The House That Jack Built" are cool since that's never been played live.

Loved this album was i was first getting into Metallica in the 90s!

That is a lot of live tracks. Seems excessive. Do people really like hearing 5 different live versions of the same song?

With box sets i like unreleased studio cuts and interesting outtakes. KISS creatures of the night whilst more expensive had more of this type stuff which is way cooler than listening to half dozen shitty live versions of a song.

I thought I had manually weeded the repeats out, but there were so many I missed some and sure enough I'm listening to the same song stir fried five different ways, drove me so nuts so I turned it off.
