Motley Crue became horrible but the video you choose to show isn't proof of that. Up until Dr. Feelgood they were on top of the world, they looked and sounded good, and while they had a lot of filler, their hits more than made up for it. If the band died in a plane crash in 1991, they would have been one of the most legendary bands of all time. They would have died at their height and everybody would have wondered what great things they could have gone on to accomplish.

Someone had to call out AC/DC. They have some stone cold classics up until BIB in 1980, not going to argue, but also the worst good to filler ratio of any band at that level. Even if we include Kiss at the same level. Are there more than 2 good songs on any album after BIB? Maybe Black Ice, or is just the filler better on that one.
