diehard fan but 2.5 hours instead of 3-3.5 hours much better. Just noticed no “you could be mine” or “civil war” there. Easily drop 2 covers and those 2 in perfect

Listening to the new drummer.

Bringing in Duffs guy gives the expected result - good drummer, modern, leans a little punk rock. He's fine. I think I liked Franks feel a bit more. Mr Brownstone feels a little stiff, but it's his first gig.

They've got his drums, especially his kick, wayyyyy out in front in the mix. Trial by fire!

"90 minutes is too short"

"3 hours is too long"

"Too many covers"

"Why isn't Izzy and Steven back?"

"I liked Frank better than this guy"

"Slash looks fat!"

"Axl sounds like Mickey Mouse"

W. Axl is fat and sounds winded. Coulda used the time off to hit his personal gym and do some cardio.

Generally, opening night is always rough, but it will get better. I believe this may have been some sort of festival show so the set list was a bit shorter. I am looking forward to the next show on the fifth.

So good to see them playing again hopefully next year we’ll get some US dates

You get into cardio shape with the tour. I say 3-4 shows in and he'll be down 10lbs and in shape & get better & better as it goes on.

I don't think that Axl has gotten slimmer or in better shape or form on any tour.

pAxl's "vocals" are laughable......... GNR is nothing but a soulless cash grab.

New drummer has much better feel than Frank, Frank played like a cruise ship variety band drummer.

They should hire Lou Gramm to introduce the band.

Why is Bad Obsession still in the setlist? Why was it ever in the setlist?

Glad they slimmed down the show, 3 1/2 hours of Mickey Mouse sings Guns n Roses is ridiculous … Axl had a range of 6 octaves … so he could do something different than the Mickey Mouse octave … that octave most likely saves him a lot of energy, probably why he keeps using it at his age.

100% this, band sounds tight!

It's a conundrum, without Axl there is no band, with him you have an 'interesting' singer

Boom. Every time they go on tour. This train is never late.

My favorite is “cash grab” - really? 2.5-3.5 hour shows from guys in their late 50s/early 60s? Why? Because the tickets cost money and it’s a business like any other band at that level? Do they play Coma most nights to grab some of that extra cash?

And then people insisting they hate each other. I’m sure Axl and Slash went to AC/DC together a couple weeks ago just to trick everybody into thinking they like each other

They’re in their ninth year of this, still booking stadiums, and you still have edgelords on the internet insisting they’re doing it wrong.

I wonder if Axe hole started smoking again he would get the classic gravel back. Actually I thought he didn’t sound bad on Jungle, I’m glad they are opening with that, as they always should.

For the most part I don't disagree, but after listening to Axl sing Sweet Child, he should have patched things up with Slash & Duff a lot sooner. They also should have got a drummer that didn't sound like a metronome back when Steven was booted, the new drummer sounds better than Frank or Matt.

Coma was only played 5 times before the reunion shows in 2016. It’s one of my favorite songs so I love it in the set. Nothing tops Coma at Rosemont 1992 for me!

I agree with dropping the octaves down no one's going to fault this guy ...everyone understands what he's put his voice through over the years

Or cheat with some front of house distortion. Anything but that clean Mickey mouse family Guy pervert voice.
