Maybe I’m out of the loop on such matters, and maybe this is a stupid question, but why doesn’t Peter ever reunite with Ace? I’d pay money to see that. Sheehan’s no slouch, though, so good call adding him to this project.

And as little as he did, it will still be more than Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer can do on their own names.
Truth.

What’s Eric going to do, a third Eric Singer Project album doing more total soundalike cover tunes?

That live album they did was hilarious, they couldn’t decide if they were ESP or Union, there’s Union songs on it. And more 70s KISS shit than stuff he actually recorded with them. And an Alice Cooper cover, again not something he even recorded. The guy is just a fucking scab.
At least Tommy Thayer could fall back on Black N' Blue if he ever gets to reunite with Jamie for that.

And yet, Peter Criss is in the rock and roll hall of fame. And they are not.

You haters can say whatever you want, but Peter was a beast in Kiss' early days and influenced a shit ton of musicians.

Singer and Thayer, two journeymen nobody's in the grand scheme of things who left zero impact.

Not gonna argue, but he's in for being a member of Kiss and nothing else. I doubt that the RRHOF guys even know about his non-Kiss recordings.
Now imagine if "Ayatolla Criscuola" throws his tantrum as he did during the recording of Hotter Than Hell, threatens to leave and G&P say fine, we'll get another drummer.

But yeah, sucks to be Singer. He played with Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and Kiss who are all in RRHOF. And he's not.

Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley are also in the RARHOF for being members of Kiss and nothing else. Almost everyone in the RARHOF is in for being a member of the band they were inducted in and nothing else, other than a very short list of the biggest of the biggest. Duh.

Maybe then, they could have gotten a drummer with zero feel, zero groove and zero personality behind the kit. Someone like Eric Singer.

Yes, he's a journey man drummer who joins bands decades after their heyday and makes absolutely no mark whatsoever.

You must have a fetish for boring drummers.

I saw a short 3 minute interview with Peter yesterday and his way of promoting his upcoming record was saying it was a typical Peter Criss album :D

He doesnt realize the ridicule all his solo albums have received??

There are a LOT of KISS fans who are so desperate for ANYTHING new they are convinced this album will totally rock.

I am a realist and put the odds at zero and that’s even with a cast of very famous and very capable KISStars guessing on it.

It’s not like we don’t ALL know better.

I might be surprised, but if that’s the case I will be really, really, really surprised.

8)

Peter Criss is a legend. I'm looking forward to this. 8)

Julian seems like a nice man. Is KISSFAQ still going? That place was too much for me with some of the posters there.

BernieTaupson wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 8:56 pm Pretty sure it eventually closed down because some of the users got some form of KISStard PTSD from counting empty seat we dots on ticket sale sites, and then coming up with ever-complicated excuses how whatever half-empty B market or co-headlining tour they were doing was somehow more popular than the 1996 reunion tour.

There’s also a couple of people there who have had almost one thousand user names each, and they kept returning under increasingly ludicrous names and correcting incorrect information posted by idiots, and for some reason that was frowned upon; despite the site being called KISSFAQ which suggests some sort of factual or intelligent discourse.

Paul & Gene like to make him a "lesser" musician than they were, but by the time he joined KISS he already had been in a band with a major label release.
They laughed at their gods
And fought them in vain
So he turned his
back on them
And left them in pain
