I didn't even know they put out a new album. I'll have to check it out.

I like hard rock, I like metal, I like theatrical bands, I also like 80s pop, and I like a good gimmick band.

So on paper, they should be my perfect band but I just can't get into them. Yet. I'm trying. I appreciate what they're doing, and I'm glad they're doing well.

Dude - did you, like, just get ass-fucked by Patton or something? You're really off the hook here.

I could give 2 F#@ks about this band and still don't get it.

But of course, I respect the fact that this guy had been plugging away for years and eventually made it work!

They suck pretty bad and are bland and boring but so many people seem to like them.

I feel like a guy watching Spinal Tap that thinks they are a real band and doesn't get it. There is no way this many people like this crappy band, unless it's a joke.

I would rather listen to this than Ghost

Or it could just be people have different taste. Not everyone is gonna like the same thing.

Hair I Go Again wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 5:18 am Ever since "Square Hammer," Ghost has had lots of success at U.S. active rock radio, which is one of the reasons they graduated from cult curiosity to arena headliner.

Current chart = "Satanized" is #7 and rising (http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/fmqb/ch ... p?format=6)

Previous results: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_discography

#1 with "Square Hammer"
#1 with "Rats"
#1 with "Dance Macabre"
#6 with "Faith"
#1 with "Hunter's Moon"
#1 with "Call Me Little Sunshine"
#5 with "Spillways"
#13 with the Genesis cover

Interestingly, their label didn't work "Mary on a Cross" as a radio single.
correct! except never heard faith or Genesis cover.
that-guy was seein' em before any of these came out, I dont know how he did it!
