I saw Gene at his first US show (I think) in Cleveland in 2017. It was okay, but I have no interest in seeing another show. After seeing this video, especially, I can think of a lot better things to do with my time/money.

He's putting in very little effort here. I don't want to see kids or other fans on stage, or some stupid fuck who paid $12,000 to hopefully get a whiff of Gene's ball bag. I'm done with the mindset where you think you gotta go just because you always went before. I went to my last KISS show in 2009, but my last real KISS show was in 2000. I should have stopped then. Ever since they returned in 2003, these guys have seen their fans as nothing but marks.

Gene has a few legitimately good songs he could be playing. It’s 2025, you have to give people a damn good reason to make the effort to go to concerts. He hasn’t given any yet.

Funny thing is I was the usher at Lemmy's funeral as my ex was in charge of it and Gene walks in and I take him to his seat which was in the 7nth pew and he complains and wants to sit up front. I felt like saying bro it's a funeral not hierarchy of who's who and so I had to go get my ex because Gene wouldn't sit and after about 5minutes of bitching to her he gets to sit in the front. Rob Halford on the other hand was great, sat off to the side in a pew blocked by a huge pole and was totally content.

Gene and paul are kind of like DLR and EVH. People argue that the less mouthy one is the real asshole (Paul and EVH), theyre just not as brash about it. Truth is, they're all assholes.

The funny thing is Gene wasn't all that bad it was actually Bob Kulick who was sitting in Slash's seat so in walks Slash and Bob wouldn't get up and I was asking incredibly nicely so I had to go get my ex who could be a bitch at times and I know Bob was kind of scared of her and let's just say when he saw her approaching Bob got up ASAP.

He then compares the girl’s speech patterns to “taking a Ex-lax” and makes a farting noise into the microphone, comparing her speaking to diahorrea, so he clearly hasn’t worked out she is special needs yet. Talk about a trainwreck. Poor girl.

Me & my bud have went to at least one of the St. Patty's Day Boston Dropkick Murphy's shows since it started, almost 30 years. It's still enjoyable but yea, we are only doing it because we've always went before.
