Yamal Said, drummer of the Austin, Texas-based rock band Lord Buffalo, was forcibly removed from a plane and detained by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol on Monday while en route to the band’s European tour; he has had no contact with his bandmates for two days, according to a social media post from the group. Said (pictured above, left) is a Mexican citizen but a legal permanent resident of the United States and holder of a green card, according to the post.

As long as I'm learning something, I figure I'm OK - it's a decent day.

Best thing that could have happened to that band
World knows them now
Maybe Katy Perry add 2nd opener now#fridayfriday

This should have happened to Enuff Z Nuff
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

As he should have been. As reported in his local Austin newspaper . . . there was a warrant out on him. When you have an active arrest warrant (was violating a restraining order), you do not get to leave the country. Notice how that very key and pesky little fact was left out of the Variety story. We all know why.
