What’s the deal with Pete Loran not being in the lineup anymore?

He makes more money mowing lawns in Az
I’m completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. These two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

I don’t think they get along either. Probably because he makes more money mowing lawns than singing in his band. That math doesn’t add up.

After watching some recent clips of scab Trixter........, they have nerve charging money for their current "amateur hour" bullshit "show".........

I'm going to be very generous and say that maybe (maybe) if surrounded by a pro level band, Steve Brown could almost pull off the lead vocals, but they also have PJ singing some leads (and his vocals are bar band level at best....). It's just the 2 of them with a fat/bald drummer (and it's not even the original fat/bald drummer  ) doing half-ass renditions of their songs. The informal, semi-acoustic "songs of Trixter" thing they were doing, I could understand, but billing this as Trixter?, no thanks.

He's just not into touring anymore basically. When band plays Phoenix, where he lives, he gets up with them.
Trixter is a fun band to catch live these days, we'll usually try & catch em.

To give you an idea of the places, or at least one place, they are playing; CJ’s Backstage in St Pete Florida is a very cool place run by some good people. But I’d guess it holds 125-150 people at most. It’s a fun place for a local band to play, but. . . . . .

Rascal's in Worcester Ma may be the show to hit. Their big business is with the country line dancing, theme night's, lessons etc., but not on July 19th!

HairFest Afterparty with Trixter
The party doesn’t stop after HairFest on Saturday July 19th! You won’t want to miss the epic Afterparty at Rascals! Hosted by Eddie Trunk and featuring a performance by Trixter. Plus HairFest artists and other special guests performing as well! This will be the jam of the year. (P.S. it’s Frank’s (Rascals’ Co Owner and aka Fret Michaels) birthday bash weekend!)
Trixter brings you their hits such as One In A Million and Give It To Me Good plus a lot more! Doors 6p, Music starts at 7p/GA Tickets only! $25 advance. $30 Day of show/21+ Event.

Place they are doing in MN (3rd straight year) is about same & but they put it on in a tent outside the bar. Its been a blast the past couple years but a couple hundred tops.
Promoter is a big fan who met em at RokIsland & brings em up each summer to his bar. Sure I'd love to see them play bigger places, but it is what it is and as long as band is paid what they want, I enjoy the shows.
