Lita Ford
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

If they were a real band ....Traci guns
But as long as they play to a click it doesnt matter

Would you rather it be Ashba?

If Lita and Keifer were not in the draft
Ashba would be first round pick for sure
John 5 is like 8th round pick on last day from some place called Cal State Bakersfield

Back in the Brides of Destruction days that might've been a possibility. I remember Eddie Trunk asking Vince about that and he said "No. Not while I'm alive".

John 5 plays the parts really well. but i still think Tracii was the better fit. I don't think Ashba would have been right fit despite him playing on a lot of motley songs 2004 and later..
Another nod goes to Jason Hook.. Great player. .does the motley stuff very well.

He is not Lita Ford
Actually John should dress like Lita and play like Lita
Change his name to Lita 5

Tracii Guns would've been the best fit overall. Came from the same era, similar style as Mick, similar look as the band.

This is the correct answer simply for the fun of watching Tracii fuck over his current band while grabbing for a bigger payday.

Yeah I remember an article in RIP around 1990. Lonn Friend was interviewing Nikki and asked him what music was out that he liked. He said Cocked and Loaded was good and deserved a listen. Vince then piped in “F*ck them!” When Friend asked Nikki why Vince reacted that way, Nikki said “someone in their band f*cked up.”DonJuanDeMarco wrote: ↑Sat May 31, 2025 6:14 amBack in the Brides of Destruction days that might've been a possibility. That was it. Friend don’t follow up. I’d agree with the theory that Vince for some reason has an issue with Tracii. Probably involves a chick in like 1987 haha

Kelly Nickles was dating Vince’s wife. Vince got LA Guns kicked off some tour over it.nuno_cherone wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 1:58 pmYeah I remember an article in RIP around 1990. Kelly was fucking Charise Neil...bad enough, but he didn't keep it on the DL. He showed up with her at Cathouse one night in her red Porsche.
...which is why L.A. Guns never opened for Motley. Sixx and Tracii were pretty much buddies, even back then.
Funny to think about it now. Charise was probably using Kelly to poke at Vince...

I need a refresher; Why did Sixx and Guns have a falling out after Brides?

Tracii was selling Nikki’s gear on eBay for him because he was hard up after a divorce. Nikki felt like Tracii was skimming off the top or stealing or some shit.

Yes. He should have been IMO. Better fit, has already worked with then.
I wonder why they didn’t pick him?

John5 to MC is the equivalent of after school detention on a Saturday with a bunch of guys that tore up the play ground equipment and he is staying over just because he is trying to get extra credit for a citizenship merit badge...

Found this on Sludge...
"A month after we got married, we got into a huge fight, and I left him and started dating Kelly Nickels of L.A. Guns, and Vince was devastated because I told him I wanted a divorce. He was bangin’ on the door, crying. My mother is the one who made me go back. She and my dad had spent $50,000 on the wedding, so I felt like I had to give it a try."
