Best? No. Really good, though? Yes. Should’ve been the second single on the album, though, and the title track should have been released as the first single. I like that one more. “Heroes Die Young” was a poor choice for a second single, and it didn’t even have a video, did it?

Love that song. Wouldn't' say it's the best though. Did they ever even come close to having anything just as good? Was it outside written?

Indeed it did. They play it on Metal Mayhem on MTV Classic.

Oh, right. Regardless, "Stranger Than Paradise" would have worked better as the second single, and as I said, I personally would have preferred the title track ("Screwed, Blued & Tattooed") as the lead single, especially since it's the main one that actually got some House of Hair/Hair Nation airplay.

I was going to say, "Stranger Than Paradise" is an awful weird way to spell Nothin' But a Good Time.

Did they ever do a video for "Bring Out The Rebel" ?
It looks like it was a single
and apparently there is a 'single mix' (I linked it below) ,
hard to hear the difference from the album version:

It's one of the best and one of my favourites. They really got it right with that one, as none of their other songs even come close. Their first record (before Elt) was even rubbish.

This! I bought the album based on the strength of that one song and thought the rest of the album was garbage.

I’m not an expert on the genre but I never heard a better hair metal song than “I Remember You”. Unless ballads don’t count.

Great song, great vocals, great solo.
