Carmine Appice: “Marcie Free told me a couple months ago she’s pissed off that she did that. There’s no life in that."

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

Similar thing apparently happened with Rhino Bucket’s Jackie Enx. Was still doing interviews as a woman as late as 2015, but as of late has been going by his “deadname” Liam Jason and presenting as a man.

Dude (with boobs) from Life of Agony (Mina Caputo?) recently admited that he's very thankful that he didn't go ahead and get his weenie chopped off. Duh.

The problem with Carmine is that he comes across as an idiot and a try-hard. Which makes no sense given his resumé.

"Carmine left for medical reasons. He made me sick" - Sharon Osbourne circa 1984.

Yeah if he was half the drummer he thinks he is, he'd be something.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

It’s been 30 or so odd years since (s)he became Marcie. You really think (s)he would actually consider going back to being Mark after that long?

I saw him live with Blue Murder. He was fantastic. I mean it. And I've seen a lot of good drummers:

Vinnie Colaiuta
Neal Peart
Bill Bruford
Tim Alexander
Gary Novak
Virgil Donati
Mike Portnoy
Simon Phillips
Sput Searight
Alex Van Halen (sober Alex)
Gavin Harrison
Pat Mastelotto
Rod Morganstein
Phil Ehart
Pat Torpey
Chad Wackerman

and quite a few more. I can spot a good drummer. Carmine was better than good.

Oh, and it's not possible for a man to become a woman. No way, no how. A man can dress how he wishes, present and act as he wishes. Those things are cultural affectations. But can a man actually be a woman? Nope. (Cue the left wing morons to pile on now. They'll still be wrong, as is often the case.)

He was like the American Cozy Powell - a guy who was in a million bands for about a minute each.

I’ll say this… Signal Loud & Clear and Mark Free Long Way From Home are 2 of the best AOR albums of all time. There are a ton of demos out there too including The Future Ain’t What it Used to Be that are awesome too.

I absolutely LOVE "Someday You'll Come Running", "Does It Feel Like Love", and "Arms of a Stranger". Very good AOR.
