"In order for Ozzy fans around the world to experience this monumental event, the livestream will be delayed 2 hours from the in-arena start time."
Is delaying a live feed 2 hours a common practice?!
Ozzy's only going to do 3 - 5 songs so they should be able to pitch-correct his vocals in that amount of time. Can't wait until the Wings of Pegasus guy does an analysis of this shitshow

If anything, that's going to make it more of a pain in the ass for US residents to watch it, because now it'll be a 7 hours later here.
If Ozzy goes on at 10 PM, it'll now be 5 AM Eastern Standard, and 8 AM in LA.
Yes, let's make the "livestream" even further in the middle of the night for our largest audience. Brilliant.
You got that backwards:
If it's 10 PM in London, it's 5 PM in NY.
If it's 10 PM in London, it's 2 PM in LA.
Or 7pm and 4pm, respectively, with the extra 2 hour delay.

Goddammit. You're right. Oooops.

It gives them enough time to tune Ozzy's vocals....
Sharon just dropped in an interview that there was a band that got dropped from the bill before being announced, but she's not saying who it was, other than it wasn't Iron Maiden.
Any thoughts? Maybe that's why Megadeth isn't on the bill? It is kind of odd that Ellefson is.
It's not Judas Priest, they're opening for Scorpions in Germany that day with Alice Cooper.

From Jake. So, will the first riff of the event be Bark at the Moon?
Just confirming I’m playing in Birmingham on the 5th of July. In fact I believe I’ll be first at bat, which means Coco has to be up at 7:00am to watch Pops! I’m thrilled to be sharing the stage with top tier musicians, I won’t name cause you never know until the curtain rises, but will confirm once we have our rehearsal next week.
Oh, btw, the two that shot me have been caught and face sentencing next month. The gun was tied to two previous murders so my case is almost an afterthought. They’re going bye bye for a long time. On that happy thought, see ya on TV!

Wasn’t it Tool after Maynard shot his mouth off about it “taking a literal miracle” for Black Sabbath to pull the performance off? You know Sharon has rabbit ears and cannot handle one ounce of any pushback against Ozzy.
I'm glad I grew up in the rock and roll/metal era. Bands went out and did it for real, not just for fun on their parents dime. Not just for the photos to post online.
But its over.
I don't wanna see these guys rolled out in wheelchairs and shit. I dont wanna see The Who with a firggin silent stage. I dont wanna see AC/DC playing everything with clean guitar sounds. It's depressing.

Build yourself a time machine then, because all of our rock heroes are old as fuck and going to be dying off soon if they haven't already. Have you told any kids to get off your lawn today?

Trixter is awesome but everyone has seen After The Rain video correct? That’s one of first things I’m going thank God for
I'm not against this, however, what I am not interested in is seeing Tom Morrello do whatever he does all day.

People thought that, but that was just due to not appearing on some marketing and their attitude towards livestreams. AFAIK, the only announced person that has dropped is Wolfgang. This was someone that was never announced.

Oh he’ll yeah! I’m so happy to have memories of growing up in those times before the internet existed. It’s just different now and I’m a fan of a good tribute band.
