Most annoying trendy phrases….

Post by fret123 »

Whenever I hear someone say “It’s been a minute” or “All the feels….”, I want to beat them with a pipe. Any others?

"They bad" or pretty much any version of "verb challenged" speech.

-Any office jargon (I have an office job and avoid using it like the plague).
-The lingo many of the comments share (teen lingo comes and goes instantly these days, meaning there is too much of it). Words like "that's cool" are timeless (to me).
-Social Influencer - I fucking hate that as a job title.

Came to post this. (Which itself is a pretty annoying phrase)

Another one is "Let`s see a video of you playing" or "Let's see your platinum records" whenever someone expresses dislike for a musician. As if you can't have an opinion if you're not proficient yourself,

I mostly see the following on Reddit, and both are overused.

"This is the way." or "TITW"

"Memory unlocked." (which I'm pretty sure comes from Zelda: Breath of the Wild but still, it's so played out now)

Definitely! That it came from a very mediocre television show makes it even worse somehow!

I've always hated when someone says an album/single/whatever "drops" on a certain date.
I hate "throw under the bus".
Most annoying to me - "clap back".
