Anyone else not give a shit about this?

I'm glad I grew up in the rock and roll/metal era. Bands went out and did it for real, not just for fun on their parents dime. Not just for the photos to post online.

But its over.

I don't wanna see these guys rolled out in wheelchairs and shit. I dont wanna see The Who with a firggin silent stage. I dont wanna see AC/DC playing everything with clean guitar sounds. It's depressing.

As I've mentioned here before, I was at one of the 2 gigs that were recorded for the Reunion album. They were supposed to be 'the last shows' but Sharon had already seen the $$$,$$$,$$$ and subsequently paraded them around the US. Then Bill stood up to her BS and was replaced by Mike Bordin. I'm glad I saw the 'proper' last show, even if it wasn't the last by many years in the 'Ozzy the performing monkey for whatever Sharon demands' saga.

That said, if I'd have scored a ticket to tomorrow I'd have been happy for the rest of the bill even though it'll be karaoke Ozzy and Sabbath for the last hour or so.

I got the live album from that show when it was released. Awful. Because that album was so bad it took me years to actually get into Sabbath.

I assume you're talking about Reunion? If so, same here. I did not care for it at the time at all, and I don't think I've listened to it in 25 years.

Probably need to give it another listen just because, especially since I'm more familiar with the original material now.

I dont remember Reunion being that bad. It sounded like he was talking about the final show, much later on, which I'm sure was a lot worse. Or was Reunion the final show with Bill?

To my knowledge, Reunion is the last thing they recorded with Bill. They did like two shows together in 2011-2012, it seems like, but I don't think those were recorded. That was when Bill gave them the ultimatum about not having a signable contract and quit again, because they only wanted to give him 5 percent.
