Retirement? Too fucking long. Somewhere around 1200 days.
Three years? Not bad. Try 10. When you count the days and not years, you're close.

First thing I will ditch when I retire is the internet subscription. I'll check in on Sludge once a week from a friend's mobile because yes, Sludge will be there in 2035! :)

Not if April comes along four years before that and Jani ends up being right.

Slang-wise, "rizz"...wtf is that? I only recognize it as Anthony Rizzo's nickname, but apparently its something else.
I believe rizz is short/slang for Charisma.

In reference to guitars:

Most Gibson guitar doinks like to call their Les Paul a "burst". "I just bought my dream burst". Ugh.

Also when guys call pickups on a guitar "pups" it kinda makes me wanna go postal.

"Got some sweet new pups on my burst"... KYS

My ex would refer to “finding her truth” rather often. Later did l found out it was one of her many manipulative phrases.

“Where to begin”

When discussing a great performance, saying he or she “ate.”

“Would not have clocked that”

“That’s on brand”

“Now we’re cooking with gas”

Fans using the term “mother” when referring to their favorite female singer (Especially prevalent among Swifties which is also an annoying term.)

"This is the way." or "TITW"

"Memory unlocked." (which I'm pretty sure comes from Zelda: Breath of the Wild but still, it's so played out now)
Definitely! That it came from a very mediocre television show makes it even worse somehow!
Oh, I had no idea it came from a TV show. I guess that explains why it has become so popular.

Yeah, what does that even mean? Is it a camera or telegraph reference. I know most of the people using it don’t even know.

Same as a yank saying period.

In British English, the words "full stop" at the end of an utterance strengthen it; they indicate that it admits no further discussion: "I'm not going with you, full stop." In American English, the word "period" serves this function.

It drives me insane when I see and hear people calling someone the GOAT. Just say the Greatest.

also:

"I'm not crying you're crying"

"Hear me out"

"LFG!"

Yeah, definitely. Can't go a day about this being debated in a sport. The continuous obsession with determining the greatest in that particular field is tedious. Especially when it is pretty much impossible to determine in a team sport and in different eras.

Also in the UK calling someone a goat back in the day meant they were a fool. Hate how it has changed to now mean greatest of all time!
