Thanks for posting. Jake sighed a bit in the beginning of SITD, wonder if it had to do with Draiman coming in early. Jake coming in late was done on purpose. Pull up old interviews of Jake talking about Sharon preaching to him to be more punctual. Jake is late for everything. Doesn't look too bad considering he was shot three times less than a year ago.

Re: “Mr Jake E Lee!!”
That was exactly why Jake looked annoyed at the beginning of SITD. Drainman started singing when Jake was supposed to be playing his subtle intro lead, before going into the main riff.Thebottomline wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 12:36 pm Thanks for posting. His right hand appears to have a bandage on it.

Re: “Mr Jake E Lee!!”
That bandage is most likely to brace his wrist since he has arthritis. Jake also had carpal tunnel surgery prior to getting shot. Not sure if that's the reason why that's there but just speculating a couple of reasons.Ozzy Stradlin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 12:44 pmThat was exactly why Jake looked annoyed at the beginning of SITD. Jake sounded better than I thought he would. Nuno can play just about anything.

That Draimon guy is about as bland and vanilla as can be. Shame he had to be the singer.

Can’t imagine being damn near murdered a year ago to being back onstage in front of a huge crowd a year later.
Jake looked great and played great. YouTube comments in the positive for Jake are huge.

I came across this guy about a year ago while searching for new to me music. At first I thought he was some British boy band outcast or a white rapper until I listened. I really like him and find it a refreshing sound. The Prez wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 4:34 pmYeah, he killed it! He can't pull it off anymore. He could barely pull off shot it the dark or the ultimate sin.He had to hide behind Nuno.I didn't see multiple singers up there bass players,or drummers or keyboard players
or lead singers. He has said in interviews he has arthritis.

He had wrist surgery and said he has carpal tunnel syndrome and receives corzon shots and has no cartilage left in his right hand and has arthritis in it to top it off. Thats one eff'd up right hand i must say.

There was plenty of multiple guitar players through out the sets. If you watched it, then you would have noticed that Nuno didn't play Shot In The Dark. It was just Jake. If Jake can pull of Shot In The Dark than he could of easily played TUS. There were also two guitar players on Bark At The Moon.gatomike wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:06 pmHe can't pull it off anymore. He could barely pull off shot it the dark or the ultimate sin.He had to hide behind Nuno.I didn't see multiple singers up there bass players,or drummers or keyboard players

It's a real shame, Nuno even had to do the solo in Ultimate Sin, whilst Jake said beforehand he could still play that one and especially liked that solo.
Jake is so much better than Zakk, both playing wise and as a live performer.

Maybe that was the plan. To me, it appears that both Jake and Nuno played the solo simultaneously.El Vampiro Blanco wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:47 am It's a real shame, Nuno even had to do the solo in Ultimate Sin, whilst Jake said beforehand he could still play that one and especially liked that solo.

I think people are going off on the wrong guitarist here. I admit that I haven't watched all of it but the clips I have seen with Nuno there was other guitarists playing. Batm and Flying High Again both had Nuno and some other guy. At least Jake got to play Shot In The Dark without other guitarists.

Re: “Mr Jake E Lee!!”
I was curious and rooting for Jake, but the MVP was without a doubt Nuno, what a pro!
I had hoped Jake still could play his iconic solos but it’s obvious that a lot of time has passed. To quote Metallica: sad but true.

He was, in 1986. He's can't play like that anymore, unfortunately... Zakk is a less interesting player but you'll never see him fuck up or not give a 100% every time.El Vampiro Blanco wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:47 am Jake is so much better than Zakk, both playing wise and as a live performer.

Re: “Mr Jake E Lee!!”
Mattley, funny Badlands story for you. I was sitting w/ Jake on the MORC one night and asked him his "favorite Jake E Lee" riff, like if he was a 3rd person, and he chuckled and said that he loved Hard Wire. I told him no, that Jake E Lee's best riff is Devils Stomp and he was like, "How does that one go again?", so I hummed it and he was like, "oh ya, I remember that". I was like, "dude, that's the best riff you've ever written and you don't remember it how it went!!"
