Maybe but I think he could honestly not care less about the success of Beth. It charted high in the US but not worldwide like IWMFLY or HoF - both his songs - and just isn't a big Kiss Klassik and never was. They played it to throw Peter a bone, not because it was essential for the reunion.

I picked one of the Steve Tylers. I think they should have been rolled into one. Paul hated that they were reduced to Aerosmith's opening act in 2003 and had to beg Peter to rejoin to even be allowed to do that. Dont like it? Dont care.

He hates that Gene is the face of the band, but he can bully Gene, so that helps make up for it.

Probably Steve being more famous. Yes, Paul had the starchild gimmick for which he'll always be remembered, but even that couldn't top the greatness of Steven "The Demon of Screamin'" Tyler.

Paul must have died comparing numbers for Crazy Nights with Permanant Vacation. And even more so with HITS vs Pump. Aero using Desmond Child to actual success couldnt have helped either.

All of the Steven Tyler answers. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Paul more cunty (that’s obviously saying something) than when his friend and badass human Richard Marx mentioned Steven in a good light. It was quite the tell.

“That asshole…*sniffles*…he’s older than me but he still can sing well…*sniffles*” is what’s playing on a loop in that psyche of his.

I went with Gene.
Paul considers himself the most important part of Kiss, but he has always been in the shadow of Gene in the public eye.
Ask someone in the general public about Kiss and they will say the guy with the tongue.
Gene had the famous girlfriends, Paul did not.
Gene did movies, Paul was pissed Gene didn't consider Paul was taking acting lessons and thus should not have been doing movies getting in Pauls way.
Gene had a reality tv series, Paul did not.
