Tommy Aldridge on Randy Rhoads

Post by Sleek »

This interview is great. Not sure I've ever heard Aldridge speak about anything, but he is articulate and definitely brings a new perspective to the old Randy story.

...annnnd he is super appreciative, even talking about what it was like to hear Randy before he even knew who he was. Tommy def does not think Randy "got better" after he died. He says he was a singular talent from day 1.

Yeah, good stuff. I kept wanting Tommy to take a big deep breath. :-)

He really should have been playing something at the final Ozzy show with Sarzo .

It would be cool to see Tommy, Don, and Rudy sit in a room for an hour and tell the story. I’m sure they would jog each other‘s memories on certain things. Plus, just to hear Don tell the story again And discuss the photos he took. He really should release them. Just for fans to be able to visualize what actually happened.. I know it’s morbid but at the same time it’s fascinating. Just to get a clearer visual for the record books.
