Not usually into this band but this is a good record. Every song has a brilliant guitar solo. Only weakness is the vocals. In some songs Zetro sounds like he's trying to intimate Marq Torien. There's slight glam influences mixed with thrash in this similar to ''Wazbones'' from Tigertailz.
The two cover songs suck and it's better to swap them out with the two bonus tracks at the end.

Re: Exodus's ''Force of Habit''
This is a step up from their 4th album, Impact is Imminent, which was pretty crappy, probably due to the drugs, probably due to the drugs, probably due to the drugs!
The guitar solos on FoH are INSANE, Gary acheived killer tone here. His solos on Architect of Pain and Feeding Time at the Zoo are in my top 5 favourite thrash solos of all time, and those 2 songs happen to be among the best on the album.
Souza's performance depends on the song. He does great on a Good Day to Die and especially on Architect, holy shit he fucking shines on that one. I guess it all depends on the vocal melody and how many words he tries - or doesn't try - to cram in a given measure.
Unfortunately, the album falls short due to filler and cringy backing vocals on some of the songs...This album did NOT need 13 songs. The Elvis Costello cover is ok, but the Stones cover is awkward... Agreed that they should have been swapped out with the 2 bonus songs.
