Re: Your favourite Ozzy solo song
I should probably say 1. Bark At The Moon 2. Shot In The Dark but the one song that I immediately cranked when I heard the sad news was Waiting For Darkness!
I surprised myself with that one but for an unknown reason I just wanted to listen to it. But # 1 all time is probably Bark At The Moon anyways. I love the outro solo by Jake!

Re: Your favourite Ozzy solo song
A couple people have mentioned Waiting For Darkness. That might actually be my choice too. That line Jake plays where he repeats every note twice so precisely it sounds like a digital delay is unbelievable.
That song brings to mind the summer of 1987 for me. I was reading Salem's Lot and listening the Bark at the Moon lp a lot. Waiting For Darkness totally captured the creepy vampire vibe of that book. Every time I heard that song since then I always thought about the end of August when the sun starts noticeably going down earlier and Barlow the vampire looks in your window.
So yeah one more for Waiting For Darkness.

Believer.
Great evil riff and Ozzy's vocal melody is just fucking killer.
Bonus mention for Now You See It, Now You Don't

Oh who am I fucking kidding? It's Bark At The Moon. It's always been Bark At The Moon.

Shot In The Dark.
Ozzy always had a great band but personally his voice wasn’t for me.
