Jason probably has an extra album of funky piano demos for bonus tracks.

I bought it earlier this year in a used cd shop in Germany. My Jingles-style review is: underwhelming. They had the 4th cd too and I was tempted, but it's probably for the best that I resisted.

Never really liked that album. On and On is knda fun, Torture is pretty good, but nothing else really stood out.
First album is a stone cold classic. 2nd is pretty strong, but seems like they ran out of gas here.
Would definitely check them out if them came though.

True ! Saigon Kick I and II are perfection!
Very few bands ever had cd 1 and 2 be legendary! It was true miracle!
But 3 and 4 … is what the world demanded and GOT!
Time to celebrate #3 in 2025!!! F U Vedder!!!

"One Step Closer" rocks pretty hard, and "When You Were Mine" is solid.daveg wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 11:23 am Never really liked that album. On and On is knda fun, Torture is pretty good, but nothing else really stood out.

the fourth album - "Devil In The Details" was pretty similar to "Water."
some decent stuff there, "Killing Ground", "Going On", and "So Painfully" specifically.
while I somewhat enjoyed the 3rd and 4th albums, nothing they did comes anywhere close to those first two.

Somebody broke into a box office and stole some water?

I like the Water record but it needed less experimental songs. Close to You almost sounds like Smashing Pumpkins.
It's good that they are playing songs from the other albums. I remember when i met them after seeing them live in 2017 i asked them why they didn't play One Step Closer or Killing Ground. Matt Kramer got mad and yelled "because those aren't fucking Saigon Kick songs". I had no idea he only sang on the first two albums so i was shocked by his outburst. The rest of the band (Jason especially) looked embarrassed cause of him.

Jason sings on Water. They were a trio at the time, just Chris, Phil and Jason. It sounds very Saigon Kick to me.
I like Water a lot. It might be my favorite by them.
