I used to be a fan of Stryper, but over the past 5-7 year, Michael's ego and level of douche baggieness has gotten to the point that it annoys more more than I enjoy Stryper. I've passed on going to their shows and getting the newer albums (they all look and sound the same anyways), because he is just such a douche.

I feel bad for Oz, Rob and Perry, who are stuck working with him.

I started disliking him around the time he did the side project albums with George Lynch and Tracii Guns. The music on the albums is good but Michael's vocals suck.

I remember this as well, and a lot of the people on the internet were saying stuff like; "What a scum bag, his wife's corpse isn't even cold yet!"

Which... for the record... I just googled it... and found this.

His wife was battling Ovarian Cancer for a few years and died in March 2009 after their 22 years of marriage and 2 kids.

Michael remarried less than a year later, in January 2010. He tells his followers how God has blessed him yet again, for the 2nd time, with his new wife.

I agree this is horrible and sad... but whenever anyone dies like this, and the other partner moves on in such a way that quickly after the fact, it's often scoffed at by people.

Which is understood... but... to their defense, it's 15 years later and they're still together.

If she is anything like his fanbase, she's blind and would walk off a cliff tonight if he asked her.
