This is just Adam's rant but according to a friend who was there, The Gaslight Anthem had a 1 year old in their party and got into it with security and bailed.
Don't care for either band but even semi-sludge is kinda rare these days

I don't have the slightest clue what Gaslight Anthem sounds like, but how fucking stupid do you have to be to bring a kid to a casino? EVERYONE knows you don't do that.

Interesting, as I was just there for another show. Really like the theater, although the drive out there sucks and the local traffic once you get off the freeway can be tricky due to street closures. Thanks for posting.
I don't know the first thing about licenses, liquor laws, etc., but I'd think that anyone who might be there to enforce restrictions would know that a 1-year-old wouldn't be a problem. I get that once you make an exception, though, the whole thing sorta collapses.
From the video, sounds like someone at the venue needs to take some customer service training, even if they were in the right.

I'm guessing there's definitely two sides on this one. It would not surprise me if whoever the "parent" was pulled a "Do you know who I am?" and security was just like "We really don't care if you play the show or not.", like Adam said.Hair I Go Again wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 5:36 am Interesting, as I was just there for another show. And honestly, they don't. Security's job is to protect the venue, not necessarily the artists. The casino is going to make money, whether the thousand or so people that showed up for the show are there or not.

They sound like a bar-rock Springsteen. He's a fan.Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 7:12 pm I don't have the slightest clue what Gaslight Anthem sounds like, but how fucking stupid do you have to be to bring a kid to a casino? EVERYONE knows you don't do that.
