Best follow up to a 10 mil plus selling album.

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

UYI, if you took the best 15 songs and put them on one CD.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

Metallica - Metallica.

Wikipedia has AJFA at 9.7 mil. That's close enough

Nope.

Those are catalog sales. AJFA didn't even hit 3 mil til a year after TBA was out.

Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here is a great follow up to The Dark Side of the Moon. A close second for me is Houses of the Holy, a great follow up to Led Zeppelin IV. Magical Mystery Tour is a great follow up to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

A few other good follow ups to monster selling albums: Green Day's Insomniac, The Long Run by the Eagles, and For Those About to Rock by AC/DC.

I guess there might be a couple more if I wanted to included follow ups to greatest hits compilations.

I will die on the hill that Wish You Were Here is better than Dark Side, and VHII is better than VH.

For Those About to Rock is hot garbage compared to everything that came before it.

Mindfunk's Dropped after the debut. Both should've sold 10 million anyway.

I agree with you on WYWH being the better album. I'll still take VH over VHII, but it is very close. FTATRWSY gets a fair to good grade from me based on the title track and "Let's Get It Up" alone, but you're right about it being weaker than all the previous AC/DC albums.

Agreed there!

VHII is possibly the greatest summer album ever. I've listened to Wish You Were Here more than any other album I've owned
