It’s actually pretty killer. Louie Clemente won’t be coming back on drums lol no chance in hell he could play those parts. Started out kind of typical but then notched up a few gears. Gotta hand it to them that they can still try new things this late in the game. The last few albums seemed kind of pedestrian so this is definitely a bump up. It’s actually more brutal than the new Dark Angel. Chuck belting out some super Lows too. Will be curious to see if this is the only track that goes in this direction or whether the whole album is on a more brutal edge. Best track from Testament since DNR…
Hmmm, somehow I missed this when I made my own post about this. New single sounds like typical Testament thrash, but that's pretty much a good thing here...

There are really no surprises with any Testament albums. They know their sound and are very consistent getting it recorded. I look foreword to a new tour.

It really is a crime that Eric Peterson it’s mentioned with the greatest metal riff writers of all time. He’s a very creative and super fucking heavy writer. I think he’s in the same conversation with Kerry King , Gary Holt and Snott Ian .
