I wonder how long she (they) were in the band for?

I didn't read all of it... but... a lot of these bands, that have a 10-20 or 30+ year history, do not let the NEW member get all the perks!

And I am not saying this is okay... but at the same time... some "hired guns" know their roll, others do not.

Also... some bands operate different than others, and while select bands are an easy and comfortable ride, while others rule their band with an iron fist.

Where there's smoke, there is fire... and if you read sh!t about someone more often than the next band, chances are, that rumor or gossip is TRUE!

I've heard some questionable things about COF, and even had a bit of drama with them in 2007, when VoJ was on the Viva La Band's Tour!

Headliner was Cradle of Filth, support was GWAR, with CKY on and Vains of Jenna as the openers.

Surprisingly, VoJ went over very well on that tour, and most everybody, including the bands, crew and fans accepted them.

However, one night the CoF tour manager was acting like a hard-ass, and told Nicki and J.P. from VoJ to the dressing room!

This was a large area, and was that night, a "common area" for all the bands... they spoke up, the guy continued, and pretty much forced them out.

They obliged at first, but as they were on the way out, the guy started saying some sh!t to them, and they said; "Oh yeah?"

The 2 then proceeded to beat the living sh!t out of the CoF TM, while CoF was on stage, and had GWAR not come to the rescue it would have been worse.

What followed next, was a ton of turmoil that night into the next day. They were in Florida if memory serves me, and I got a call at 11Pm my time (2:AM EST) from Bam's label president Tim Glomb... he started telling me the story and I guess that night CoF and their management (back in the U.K.) said: "They have to go... kick them off the tour!"

Bam went to the CoF bus, and told them; "This was the coolest thing that happened on this whole F'ing tour... they're staying... don't like it, then go home!"

Hahaha... in the end... CoF of caved in... and never left, nor were VoJ kicked off the tour. But, their TM did suffer a bloody face and knew not to F' with the openers anymore!

There were also threats from the CoF managers in the U.K., and they said they could press charges, have the pair arrested, etc.. but I guess cooler heads prevailed!

Wow interesting story! By the way, Ashok has been with COF on guitar since like 2014, Zoe has only been there for a couple years. Dani Filth just announced on FB that Ashok is now fired mid tour and the band will be performing with only one guitarist until a replacement can be flown in. Seems like Ashok would have been offered a better contract since he’s been with them over 10 years. Dani is claiming they are trying to illegally defame and derail the band, yet former backing singer Sarah Jezebel Diva confirmed in the comments on Zoe’s post that she left the band due to a similar situation

This has escalated very quickly lol

Doing your face up like Pinhead without the pins isnt cool. He should have been fired for that alone.

COF seem to try to have cool outfits and look like Dimmu Borgir, but always seem to fail at it. They have short guys, fat guys, bald guys in the band, etc. Its cool they're theatrical, they're just bad at it.

It’s always funny when scabs think they have rights over anything- they did zero for bands popularity
Everybody is replaceable -it’s like WWE roster
LA Guns seems to have best business model..2 Guns get everything and all others get Jack In The Box gift cards weekly
Only scab that deserves any kind of band ownership is Lance Eric

Ya wanna dress up and have Cradle lifestyle, just come home and get 2nd gig- i recommend house sitter

According to the new contract which they didn’t sign, they weren’t allowed a 2nd gig, not sure about previously. Also, Ashok had been in the band for 10 years or so, not really a scab at that point

KISS was 1/2 scabs for like 20 years. Some of those GnR guys were backing Axl up forever too. I doubt anyone was paying a dime to see any of them. They are all just filling in for a band with a built-in audience and a back catalog.

Scabs had no problem signing LPs they had nothing to do with LOL! They sat at table dressed like D- “stars”..enjoy scab life

I'm not a CoF fan but Dani is a short guy and I read years ago that he has a massive Napoleon Complex. CoF have gone through 40 band members and according to Dani the problem is always them?!

I found out through this drama that their manager is Dez Fafara from Coal Chamber, who is - guess what? - a short guy with a massive Napoleon Complex.

And, just like the morons playing with their Kiss dolls and queuing for $1000 photos with a band where the main guys despise them, some CoF fans are still defending the egotistical dwarfs.

The guitarist and his wife only got $150.00 a day with no benefits? Get a job with In 'n' Out and get employee discounts on meals and they would fare much better.

Napoleon Bonaparte was actually about 5 foot 6 inches tall, similar to average Frenchmen of his time.

The misconception about Napoleon's height arose from differences in French and English measurement systems.

Napoleon's army and propaganda from his enemies contributed to the myth of his short stature.

He definitely DID have a complex though

Seems like everything was okay with the guitarist until he married the keyboard player. She was probably in his ear everyday telling him to get them more money. Nobody knows or cares who these scabs are, that band's popularity is entirely because their lyrics are like Shakespeare horror novels. Good luck to these two getting another gig now they have torched all the bridges.

""""""""""""""Dani is a short guy"""""""""""""""

This is an understatement... lol.

When VoJ was on that run I was backstage and using the men's facilities... as I was walking out Filth was walking in!

Complete with huge riser (Kiss like) boots, and he was still a full head shorter than I am.

I just googled, and it says 5'5", which I think is being generous!

I always loved the story of Nick Barker (former COF drummer) hanging Dani, by his ankles, out of the Ambassador hotel in Milwaukee at Milwaukee Metal Fest. If you know Nick, you know that story is most likely very true.

I knew all that. Also the Imperial Guard were recruited from the tallest soldiers in the French army, so anyone standing next to them seemed short. The point is that the propaganda gave rise to a nickname that remains relevant with genuinely short men to this day, as evidenced by Mr Filth amd Mr Fafara.

Lmfao. I posted Dani’s response a bit ago. Always two sides to a story. I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle

I'm thinking this could go in two different ways. One way being the rest of the band follows suite after the tour kind of like what happened to Danzig in 1995 or this Ashok guy comes back within six months with his tail tucked between his legs a single man.
