Second single off Aenima. It still gets radio play today.

What was ur reaction when u first heard Tool's 46 & 2? Did u like it? Badass tune? Not heavy enough? Boring? What did u like about it or hate about it?

Have u ever gotten laid to 46 & 2?? Ever picked up any pussy at a Tool show, where the chick was into 46 & 2??

Another band that just didn't resonate with me.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

Seemed different for the times but not a song l needed to put on repeat. I recall being at a high school house party in 94 and this album was played on repeat because everybody had themselves talked into it being so great. Had an opportunity to see Tool play at the Target Center, Minneapolis one year and completely passed on it, no interest.

Hated it. Couldn’t stand it. My stoner friends in high school were obsessed and I just couldn’t understand it. I thought it was basic repetitive drivel all in the same key.

Then I started getting stoned in college and this song and Tool in general made perfect sense.

Shoutout to the self-righteous “I don’t need drugs to enjoy music” square virtue signalers here. Good for you. Have a cookie. I don’t need drugs to enjoy music, but they can open my mind to some music that I wouldn’t have been open to otherwise. Big difference. And as Bill Hicks says at the end of this album, go ahead and burn your record collection if you’ve got a problem with drug use since they were pretty much all created under the influence.
