Fellow Rockers, what are your thoughts on this tragedy?

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

Another political thread?

Can we get a political board for this shit?

I’m not even going to try to catch up 4 pages deep.

In America we should be able to say what we want without being killed, maybe a punch to the nose … not a bullet to the neck.

These video games have turned all these pussies into snipers because they’re afraid to get punched in the nose, they can actually hit a target without ever touching a gun before. “Experts” warned us many years ago about the video games.

And don’t drink bottled water.

Conservative gun worship culture kills again. This guy wouldn't have known how to shoot a gun so proficiently at 22 years old if his MAGA daddy hadn't put one in his hands when he was very young.

The vast majority of what makes up the right wing nowadays are just stupid, dumb easily manipulated people whose next critical thought will be their first.

These people are fucking dummies. It's on display here as literally every one of the hard core MAGA on this board are utter smooth brained imbeciles.

Earlier I used to play a game of “Guess That Smell” when reading DDM’s angry posts to give myself a laugh. I always settled on bad body odor, stale beer and dirty ashtrays with a dash of cat piss.

Imagine my surprise with his recent living accommodations thread? It was even worse. You can’t make this shit up.

The ONLY person saying Sludge posters here are celebrating is YOU. Everyone else is saying, yeah the guy was a complete cunt, and the world won't miss him, but violence like this serves no purpose and will probably just make things worse.

And yet again YOU are missing the point that he was murdered by another MAGA RWNJ. Not by a liberal / trans / commie etc. By a conservative man from an religious family in an ultra religious state, who was familiar with heavy calibre weapons since elementary school age.

Can you also answer my question from yesterday? It just needs a straight yes or no. Do you agree with Charlie Kirk that:

1 - black people.are inferior to white people.
2 - women shouldn't have any rights and in particular shouldn't have any control over their own bodies?

Not that it's a surprise, but his wife sounds unhinged - and it doesn't feel like it has as much to do with his assassination but rather her own system of beliefs. I'm sure Wednesday's events would enrage ANY spouse, no matter who you are, but she seemingly is right in lockstep with Charlie. One thing that really wasn't fleshed out in the Sludge threads is the difference between freedom of speech/opinions and the actions they cause. Words become actions. Maybe not for Charlie himself, but for the easily influenced who are seeking their purpose and truth. That is 100% cultish behavior. Easy targets become weaponized. And if everything about the nut that pulled the trigger is true, he was indoctrinated into a cultish fantasy world that was beyond his ability to rationally think through, except to listen and follow Warrant's Andy Warhol was Right.

15 years ago, I used to attend a contemporary church and lead the worship band. It was pretty lightweight compared to evangelicals and thumpers, but it was just enough to dip a toe in the water to see beyond the surface. It sounds fake, but it did cause my wife and me to have an epiphany. We left the church and became atheists - not JUST BC of the church but rather that awakening to how false and fictional everything about "the word" and stories were. It also opposed our internal beliefs diametrically in some cases. Women's place, homosexuality, eternal damnation, and this list goes on. Even the cool church in town with the rock worship band was a cult of sorts. Never looked back. Never doubted my 180.

Edit: There were some good people there too, but I had a front-row view of how they worked the system to get the church to fund their five family vacations a year and other seemingly meaningless things. No one was beating anyone over the head with indoctrination, but they subscribed to the basics.

Yeah isnt it funny? Even though everybody here is on the same page and have the support of each other, the comfort of an echo chamber and the strength of numbers they lose their s*** over one guy who has a different point of view. Are they threatened? If they were so confident their beliefs would they be concerned that some random dude is calling them out?

" that guy doesn't think like us, tear him down!!" You are sub intelligent thugs.

Fat elvis, you're right. My feelings are hurt. Nothing that anybody has said about me is on point, the use of generic adjectives like f****** moron does not make me lose my s*** and want to shout in your face. It's the insane celebration of a wrongful death that hurts. I love Charlie kirk. And talking with folks like you the seeing this United lack of humanity it's definitely disturb me to me.

This is interesting regarding the empathy quote that the left have been parroting as if to make some profound point. But once again it's the subject of spin. Because quite frankly you guys are morons

I made a point to listen to her entire statement. She lives in whacky town. I don't judge her for being angry. Everyone reacts to death in their own way, but I was surprised at what she chose to say and not to say.

Very little about her husband beyond his job, faith and kids. (Does the guy even have parents?) Nothing about finding common ground, unity or toning down violent rhetoric.

But she did include a lot of vindictive shit: her "battle cry," continuing on with his work (and his tour - wtf?), and making sure to mention their website address. Her inevitable Fox News show was writing itself.

Apparently she also released a video diary of his casket being flown back home, which only adds to the weirdness. If my spouse died, my first request wouldn't be "follow me with a camera."

2) women cannot be allowed to decide what happens with their own body.
