Anyone think these vigils are somewhat odd? It's like holding a vigil for Mr. Beast or Pewdipie or Rogan. I don't have a problem with whatever as long as it doesn't incite further political violence. I'm just saying, a podcaster. There were several in my metro area, and I would bet the majority of attendees might know who he was but never listened to a minute of his "show."

Cultists gonna cult... and he never gave a rat's ass about any of them unless they sent him money.Hatchets Molly wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 3:46 am Anyone think these vigils are somewhat odd? Makes me wonder, and has probably been discussed here before, how many right-wing politicians and influencers don't subscribe to the ideology but found their cash cow to milk for as long as they can. That is, it's a grift not unlike many other things.Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 4:12 amCultists gonna cult... and he never gave a rat's ass about any of them unless they sent him money.Hatchets Molly wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 3:46 am Anyone think these vigils are somewhat odd? I'm also finding it interesting that the gov of Utah is now saying "extreme leftist ideology" solely based on speaking with friends and family (who probably want to create distance between their right wing ideologies and this mess) PLUS the inscriptions on the casings (which were already in the news as his form of a joke). Why the hell don't they shut up until they have real evidence of a motive rather than unreliable stories? Rhetorical.

I think we should all move on.
Trump has already moved on, and wants to concentrate on his spiffy new ballroom.
Oh, and he'll ignore the Russian drones buzzing over Romania and Poland . . . for now.

Yeah, he's moving on to visiting us and pretending to be royalty, visiting Charles and Camilla at Windsor Castle.TravisBicklesMohawk wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 4:38 am I think we should all move on.

Trumpie maneuvers: Taking paraphrased Charlie Kirk quotations and claiming "he never said that" when it's obviously the exact same thought and sentiment.
They're also very convinced that this wholesome young right wing murderer was somehow possessed by woke influence online. Because no way he was just an idiotic Trumpie gun nut.
Finger pointing a gogo.
