CEO makes some very valid points. On top of that, I think there are enough casuals who are going to Vegas would remotely check out a Motley show given a good ticket price. As long as the band keeps it very short as far as the length of residency, they could make this work for a while.

I don’t think the band could take this into Arena’s given Vince’s lack of mobility to cover the stage work.

They should have never un-retired. They’ve become a joke now

Nikki supposedly said he’s stepping away from touring to focus on family and non Motley stuff, so these Vegas shows are probably the end for real.

I watched some clips and while I heard some 'ad libs' piped in, he's doing an awfully good job at lip-syncing his own bad vocal track.
I wonder if they have the ability to 'trigger' vocals yet...like when a singer starts to sing a line, that line or a few words are triggered so if he's a little early or late, it isn't as obvious that's his lip syncing..

This looks so antiseptic. It's devoid of everything the 80s, early 90s Crue were famous for. Grungy, dirty, street hooker, amp stacks, loud a$$r rude rock with chaotic lighting.

John 5: “ And there's no tracks or anything like that. He's just singing great… When I heard 'Home Sweet Home', I was, like, 'Holy shit. This is really, really great.' So I'm just so proud of him. And the guys in the band were, like, 'This is some of the best shows we've ever done.' So, we're super, super excited."

Vince is doing much better than his solo shows just a few weeks ago, glad he continues to progress with his recovery.

Tape meaning... some form of sample, a cloned (AI) voice, or perhaps, a Robert Mason/Ozzy situation. Meaning, the guy who sang "The Dirt" tracks is back-stage in a room, mic, monitors, lyric sheets, hot tea, video cams pointing at Vince (face, mouth) for the entire show and this guy is doubling him, or basically taking the lead.
First I'm hearing of this. So, are we saying that Vince didn't even sing in the studio for the recent tracks? I would have expected at least whatever Don did for the last Dokken album, where it's him, but it's also autotuned to hell to make it sound good.
It's probably a lot less complicated, the vocal track of a concert from a decade ago or something. Cause it definitely sounds like Vince, and bad Vince to booth.
As for the studio tracks, those are probably recorded line per line and pasted together. As been happening for ages, and even for good vocalists too.

MetalSludgeCEO wrote: Sun Sep 14, 2025 7:24 pm Anyone who thinks that is ACTUALLY Vince singing live... is beyond delusional!

As a singer... for 40 years, and knowing how the voice works, and seeing him flail for a few decades barely enunciated more than 30% of the lyrics... this is ALL tape!

Tape meaning... some form of sample, a cloned (AI) voice, or perhaps, a Robert Mason/Ozzy situation. There have probably been a group of studio wizards working magic with random live takes, and inputting his voice into a sampler, or other for the last 6-8 months. They have been locked away in a studio, testing out how to do it, how it works, how it won't, and more.

Not to mention... in all the clips I've seen... Nikki and Tommy talked more in between songs than Vince, and he's the singer.

Then those 3 shows he did 2 months ago, were less than stellar, and showed a clearly diminished vocal ability, and even his movements, to walk, etc.. were slower. They ar in these clips as well.. but his voice is BETTER than it's been since the mid 90's? Ummm. No!

The lighting and minimal use of the big screens for close-ups on the guys is also a hint.

I have watched a few videos and seen a full show clip for 30-40 minutes, and never saw a close-up of Vince at any point.

Also... the lighting is minimal when it comes to lighting the guys. And they did this with ALL of them, even the other 3... because if they put a follow spot-light on any of the others, and not Vince, that would look odd... so there is literally next to NO direct lighting on them.

There is no chance Vince is singing that... and if he is... it's minimal and what he is singing is being "enhanced" by other means... no doubt in my mind.

And hey, I am not a hater here... just stating my opinion and some facts... Vince is not singing like they want you to believe.

The million dollar question is... what happens to Motley Crue and their plans after October 3rd?

Doing this in the same room, through the same system, with all the on-hand staff, crew, etc... in Vegas is one thing... pulling this off at a Festival where there are 10-20 or more bands and the related hanging around all day... Nope.

This is 100% exactly what is happening.

Look at this clip. At 1:04 you can hear Vince go "oh yeah" but the mic is nowhere near his mouth.
https://youtu.be/yek6ahPC3QA?si=k7ZrNTHszH6GJxZg&t=60

In this clip, you can see Vince singing "live wire" but you don't hear the audio. Maybe he was supposed to let the crowd sing that part? But you can hear him perfectly fine up until "live wire" and his mouth was moving the entire time.
https://youtu.be/59Eq2Q5bJPw?si=pCxWcd0nYSx7d30J&t=161
Also a few seconds later when Vince is supposed to hit the scream, he goes to scream but nothing comes out at all.

Sadly, I know of some "younger" bands that are doing the exact same thing and those singers aren't even half as bad as Vince. Lots of singing on tape these days from lead singers and it's lame but a lot of these guys are lazy and won't put the work in to strengthen their voice. Of course some are just due to age and genetics (Paul Stanley), so it is what it is, but some are just straight up lazy and looking to still get paid.

He's 100% singing, and there also looks like tapes being played. (why would you pipe in 'oh yeah's? That makes little/no sense)

Could also be delays in audio vs. video capture depending on where filming is done. You can clearly see he's singing in footage from the front row. There's no possible way Vince is that good, capable or lucky at miming. Then there's the random yelp as mentioned that is obv piped in.

Fucked if I know, but I agree that this is awful looking and I wouldn't go on a dare. It's too painful to even read about. Going out in a blaze of glory this isn't!

Totally agree with @sleek that without the backline, this looks like a 70s NBC variety show like Donny & Marie. Not very metal.

There's clearly a Vince 'oh yeah', but he's not ever close to the mic.
