Couple shots of the Greco with the new DiMarzios installed:
I'm digging the hell out of it. I have to completely dial my amp up to different settings to get the right sound but once I do, it's just unreal sounding. I don't think I'll be needing another guitar for a while. If this thing was a chick I'd fucking marry it.
Picked up a new Gotoh bridge for the LP. It had the old ABR-1 "wire"-type bridge....damn wires got to rattling, dab of clear silicone didn't do shit to quell the noise.
Friend of mine picked up an Marshall AVT50H a few weeks ago(same one that hot-rodded his old Peavey Mace)..not a bad amp..claims he's found an "SLO100" mod for the OD channel. I have my doubts....but we'll see what happens.
Speaking of Soldano, Brian Wampler is supposedly close to unveiling a new pedal...SLO in a stompbox.

Very cool!
I tried a 333 again with an Ibanez and a Tele.. it actually sounded pretty good.
I'm gonna bring this thing up again (sorry). IF... I were to change out the tuners on this thing does anybody have recommendations on some good solid machine heads? These Kluson fuckers are kind of a bitch. If I do some hard bending they have a little minor slippage.
I'd really like Grovers but I'm pretty sure I'd have to ream the holes out to a larger diameter and I'd like to avoid that. I want to find some Grover-like machines with a shaft size that won't force me to bore out the holes. TIA again.
You do have to ream them out for Grovers, though I did with no regrets. However if you are having tuning issues you may want to check the nut grooves first. The locking Klusons sound good IF they are direct replacement. Ask and don't assume on that!
They really are. Best performance and significantly cheaper than Schallers. One thing I love about the Agile guitars is that they come with Grovers stock! Although mine have licensed Floyds anyway, but the Grovers are still a pleasure!

So do Epiphones.
I did a quick fix that seems to be working. I re-strung the guitar with 9s instead of 10s and per a friend's advice, I raised the tailpiece a little. Both of those things seem to have taken a little tension off the machines and it stays in tune better. But I prefer 10s so I'm eventually going to have to do something about the damn tuners.
