Doesn't that describe most bands?

But with you on the looks deal. A band with those 2 weirdos would've never made it on MTV.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

That's a pretty typical setlist, IDK what else you'd want/expect.

Nah, most have a baseline of okay stuff and some high water marks. Cheap Trick has some high water marks and a bunch of garbage!

Look at their most recent show :

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/cheap-tr ... b674a.html

75% garbage!

They’re not even playing a bunch of their best songs. They don’t seem to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff.
As a big CT fan that set list isn't bad. I could do without "In The Streets" and "Jump In The Fire". Don't care for "The Flame" but among fans of the band I'm in the minority. If I made the set lists I'd slot in "Hot Love" and "Give It Away".

Some really good songs and a load of totally forgettable shit. Guitarist seems to think he’s Steve Martin and runs around doing goofy shit that only he thinks is funny. Drummer (before they unceremoniously dumped him) looked like a chainsmoking computer repair guy who has a lot of hidden hard drives somewhere.
I really like a lot of their music but I agree about Rick Nielsen’s schtick. Feels like they or at least he tried really hard to make it a “thing”. Like AC/DC had Angus in his school boy strip show and hopped around like a maniac. KISS had Gene Simmons spit blood and stick his tongue out. I just don’t know if Rick Nielsens quirky nerd guy act caught on. I’ve never heard anyone say “man the concert was great, did you see Nick Nielsen bug out his eyes and act like he got electrocuted “. Maybe the die hard can correct me. But man do they have some really great songs.
