I'm listening to Kiss Alive! front to back for the first time ever.

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

They have a lot of “sick” riffs. Parasite, Deuce, Black Diamond, Cold Gin, God of Thunder, DRC
I Stole Your Love is a good one too. I also always liked She too

The opening duo of Deuce and Strutter, Parasite, Watchin' You, 100,000 Years, Black Diamond - all quality meat and potatoes rock. It was all downhill from here.

Yes, it was music for teenagers, just like 90% of rock and roll - Elvis, Jerry Lee, on and on. And I was a teenager.

Also, after listening to Alive!, one of my conclusions was reaffirming my believe that Cold Gin is unbelievably overrated compared to the rest of their early catalog. I don't get it.
The best thing about Cold Gin are the bass slides. Other than that it sounds a bit draggy. They needed Bun E. Carlos with a bad back to push the tempo.

He was no better than 70’s Peter. Just known due to his weird look. Not special.
