People dump on Gene and call him the “greedy Jew” and a “miserable” human being. But he wasn’t “above” co-writing songs with Eric and including Eric in the or his creative process or treating Eric like a bandmate, human being. Even that Hitler loving, drunk Chinaman, Ace Frehley wrote more than one song with Eric during their short-lived stint together in the band.
You know who the one guy in the band who didn’t write with Eric Carr was? Paul Stanley.
Frehley / Carr co-writes: On MFTE: Escape from the Island, a jam from Ace's home studio with some overdubs, and the one minute instrumental "Finale", and on Frehley's Comet "Breakout" written by Carr (sole writer of Carr Jam 81) with vocal melody and lyrics Richie Scarlet where Ace by his own admission got a songwriting credit for the line "The food here sucks, I am not about to wait". So it doesn't look like Ace wrote more than one song WITH Carr. Adding a line of lyrics to an instrumental Carr wrote years earlier doesn't count.
Paul on the other hand wrote at least one song with Eric - he brought a Zeppelin sounding demo and Paul and Vinnie turned it into All Hell's Breaking Loose. Nobody really knows why Gene has a credit on that song.
Edit: Not that it has to do with this, but when checking Carr's songwriting credits I saw that Carrie Stevens was 17 (!!) when the 37-year-old Carr started dating her. Didn't know that, and isn't it almost Bill Wyman territory?

Musk could give every person in the world $1B and still have billions and billions for himself. I'm waiting for a wire transfer.
I don't think he can do that.
Darn it. I've been standing by the mailbox for weeks. Sometimes it's wet and cold. Hate that.
Sorry, I fucked up also. I was basing this on a recent headline stating that he could be the world's first trillionaire and meant to say "in the US" and "$1M"...not a billion. JFC, I'm brain-dead from my job.
On the bright side, you won't miss the delivery of your Vinnie Vincent box set.

Eric wrote all of AHBL except for the lyrics, He wrote all the music. Paul wrote the lyrics. I’m not sure why Gene or Vinnie have cowrites on it.
Eric did have another co-write on Under The Gun
People don’t know how to do math. Carrie has talked about all of this. I believe they met in Memphis on the Crazy Nights tour. She was attending Memphis State at the time. According to WP, that date was November 15, 1987. It was the third stop of the tour. Her DOB is May 1, 1969. She had turned 18 the previous May.

You're correct about the age and date. Googled Stevens, Carr and Memphis and found an interview with Stevens where she confirms what you say. Didn't check the dates and just went with what others wrote, Wikipedia etc.
Are you sure about AHBL? I do remember an interview where Carr said the finished song was barely recognizable from the demo he submitted, and that both Vinnie and Paul were involved. Gene probably came up with one line or something and got a credit. Change a word, get a third....
Trivia: Songwriting credits on LIU: Vinnie 8 songs, Gene 6, Paul 5, Eric 1. Paul wrote less than both Vinnie and Gene. But at least two Gene credits, AHBL and And on the 8th Day are probably him adding some lyrics to finished songs.

It’s possible Vinnie came up with the bridge. I think you’re right about Gene.
