I may try to sell a bass locally with Facebook marketplace. Shipping can be a pain. Thanks for the warning. I have Zelle on my phone now. Maybe they'll use that. Too much shennanigans can happen with cash payments. "Oh no....I guess I don't have that extra $100!"
Cash payments are shennanigan free. If some dude travels to you and doesn't have the agreed upon amount of cash? Tell him to come back when he does.
Yeah, though cash people can be frustratingly flakey, all the payment apps (Zelle, CashApp, Venmo) can't be trusted. So many scams.
If you do insist on using the payment apps, make sure the money is in your account by going to the app itself. Don't trust emails as they are easily spoofed by the scammer. Don't click on links, etc.
ONLINE CUSTOMERS ... This last week I had a customer message me 41x, and it's likely gonna continue.

Yeah. I was planning on checking the app on my phone to confirm the transfer took place.Darrien wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 5:34 amVelvis wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 11:35 amThere are all sorts of scams with Zelle. I wouldn't touch that with a 10-foot pole.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 7:12 am

$500 could get a really nice bit of human interaction if you know who to call lol
