How often do you all eat Thanksgiving food during the regular year? I sure don't eat non-sandwich turkey very often. Some families do a nontraditional version of Thanksgiving for this reason.

Got up late, getting my coffee fix now from my awesome metal sludge tumbler

Wife is in the kitchen making a crazy amount of appetizers for later (she started last night) She seems really tense!

Meanwhile I'm relaxed and f'ing off while sludging

We are driving up to Simi Valley to feast with friends this afternoon, I think it's going on close to 20 years we've been doing this, always good times.

My friends wife always cooks the entire meal, can't talk her out of it. Always REALLY good!!

I'm going to the store soon to pick up salmon because my in laws don't like Turkey (damn these high maintenance muthatruckas!! )

After that do some exercise to get extra hungry (get in some local MTB)

Then drive up for football/brews/feasting the rest of the day, spend the night.

I finally remembered a good story from many years ago. I was forced to go to my brother in law’s sisters house.

So get over there in a big room all kind of people I don’t know nor care to. They have this little annoying toy poodle that won’t quit scratching peoples legs.

The little shit was actually called tigger. My sister was sitting beside me and told her I wonder if anybody has gotten tired of that and said tigga please.

She bust out laughing so bad she was crying and everyone was like what’s the deal? She can’t talk right now so I told the joke.

You could of heard a mouse pissing on cotton just disgusted faces everywhere. That dog lived for several years after that but the funniest part was how he met his demise.

While the owner was in the front yard with the dog her husband pulled up into the driveway and squished him with his truck.

That was one dead tigger right there.
