They're doing a 4 pack special on lawn seats in Cincinnati. Both bands are long past their sell-by dates but a Saturday night in October could be fun. Interesting that COC got the opening slot.

But as the guitarist now tells Bohlinger, he’s suffered with after effects that include several transient ischemic attacks, or TIAs. Those led to a stroke that's impacted his strumming. The resulting effects became clear once Judas Priest returned to the road following a roughly five-month layoff while Faulkner recuperated.
“We went back out on the road, and I thought everything was fine,” he says, “but there was something in my right hand.” After attempting to remedy the issue by removing his rings and even changing his picks, Faulkner concluded something had happened to his right hand. Tests confirmed the stroke.

So, just to be clear, because those posts read somewhat funny, Faulkner had the Aortic Dissection, and then since then has had subsequent TIAs which seem to have caused a larger (but still minor, because he's still functioning and playing guitar) stroke.jens wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 5:36 amI'm not:Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:37 amYeah, I think we're talking two separate health events, unfortunately. Two separate health issues, that possibly go back to the same source, more than likely some sort of vascular issue. Could be genetic, could be degenerative, could be blood clots.

would've thought Priest a minor amount more of a draw as they never open tours or don't close shows like Alice always does (Motley, Rob Zombie etc...) Wonder what these 2 can draw?

Budweiser Stage here in Toronto. I know it's only one show but in all the press releases and tour adds Alice is mentioned 1st and his logo is on the left side which has always been the band going on last. The only time I seen the Judas Priest logo 1st on the tour posters was on their site.NeonKnite wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 1:26 pmSource?HORRORHOLIC1979 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 9:30 amNope Alice is closing each night.thunderdan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 4:09 am Priest, I figured closes each night. Some of advertisements say Alice Cooper and Judas Priest. It's Preist closing each night?

Not definitive. There are just as many tour ads with that reversed.HORRORHOLIC1979 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:24 amBudweiser Stage here in Toronto. Not for nothing, my tickets (Cincinnati) have Priest listed first (Judas Priest and Alice Cooper) and have an image of JP but not Alice.HORRORHOLIC1979 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:24 amBudweiser Stage here in Toronto. My tickets for the Austin show the exact opposite. I'd guess they're either alternating who opens/closes or each venue is choosing who gets promoted more. Both bands played the same venue last year a few weeks apart from each other. I didn't see Priest, but the Alice show with Zombie/Ministry/Filter was at least 90% sold with a capacity of 14,000.Tymaster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:51 amNot for nothing, my tickets (Cincinnati) have Priest listed first (Judas Priest and Alice Cooper) and have an image of JP but not Alice.HORRORHOLIC1979 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:24 amBudweiser Stage here in Toronto. They alternate. Just go to Ticketmaster and see whose name is listed first. This is the same way the Motley / Def Leppard Stadium Tour was done with the rotating "headliners".

My mistake then. It seems they are indeed rotating.Tymaster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:51 amNot for nothing, my tickets (Cincinnati) have Priest listed first (Judas Priest and Alice Cooper) and have an image of JP but not Alice.HORRORHOLIC1979 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:24 amBudweiser Stage here in Toronto. Going by that, it looks like they flip-flop every 3rd show? Interesting. In all honesty, it has zero impact on me. I haven't seen JP in 20 years and I haven't seen Vince in 8 years, I'm looking forward to both equally. Perfectly "even" co-headline imho.VinceLeeRose wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:12 pm They alternate. Sure but who cares? Why does every Sludge tour turn into a debate on how many dots are on the Ticketmaster site? As individual headliners, these guys would be more apt to play the mid-size sheds, but together, Live Nation put them in the big ones. Proabably won't sell out a single show but they all will probably sell more tickets than the capacity of the nearest mid-size tent.Bob Sacamano wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:56 pm A lot of these shows will most probably be heavily papered.

We'll see, but I always heard the staging of the theatrics made it hard to do a rotate tour and therefore he's not done one.
Every other co-headline tour Alice has done, he's gone on either first or last. He's went on first every time with Rob Zombie and also with Deep Purple, but he did go on after Marilyn Manson (who probably had more theatrics that tour). I feel like I'm forgetting one of his co-headlines, but I would not be surprised if Alice goes on first.

I can't remember if he went on first or last with Cheap Trick 20 years ago...NeonKnite wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 11:02 am We'll see, but I always heard the staging of the theatrics made it hard to do a rotate tour and therefore he's not done one.

Re: JUDAS PRIEST And ALICE COOPER Announce Summer/Fall 2025 North American Tour With CORROSION OF CONFORMITY
Right. This is exactly what I explained a few weeks earlier in the thread on some other co-headline tour that isn't "selling out?" 20,000 tickets.Tymaster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 10:10 amSure but who cares? Most tours are now booked a year in advance or more. Anything after February is Live Nation filling out the schedule on buildings they own or have rights to. Someone else pointed out they have contracts with some cities to bring a certain amount of events every year. And the city doesn't care if every single show is the Rolling Stones.
Alice Cooper gets his minimum guarantee and his T shirts in front of more eyeballs and also doesn't have to work quite as hard.
Since I had to miss the original Operation Rock N Roll I hope to hit at least 2 shows. If it doesn't rain.

I cannot wait for this show!!!
I am so happy that it is at The Forum, my favorite venue!
And it's right around my birthday!
I don't care who plays first. I love Alice more than anyone, but I love Judas Priest too.
It's all fine! I haven't been to The Forum in years, and I'm so excited to get back there!

Any chance Alice is bringing the OG lineup for this tour? He’s releasing a new album with them soon.

If he does any shows with the original line-up, it will likely be a short tour of select shows in major cities.
This sort of thing was talked about around the time of the RARHOF Induction but didn't happen.
If it does, I wouldn't expect it until 2026.

Are those guys even healthy enough to play live? They're all 77-78 right now. I've got a hard time seeing that lineup actually playing an entire show, seems like something where he'd bring them out for an encore in Detroit or something.

Keith Richards is older than them and still tours. I honestly have no idea what their health issues are.Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 8:27 amAre those guys even healthy enough to play live? what's the over/under on this tour? If live nation was more confident, they would have done a full summer shed run and not 22 fall tour dates I'd think.

Re: JUDAS PRIEST And ALICE COOPER Announce Summer/Fall 2025 North American Tour With CORROSION OF CONFORMITY
I think this was already covered. No one was sitting in an office going "you know what the US needs!? Priest and Alice in sheds!" This tour was to fill in some voids on the slate in LN owned sheds. Priest management wanted a US run and Shep is always looking to make money from Alice. Three interested parties. It works in that regard. It'll do a little more than what either band could do in a mid-size shed. Probably around 7k. Some shows will bomb, some shows will have over 10k.thunderdan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 3:18 am what's the over/under on this tour? Seems like good plan do 20 or so shows on tour for few years across America…keeps it fresh and what both bands can handle..get opportunities to maybe go every year
Zombie/Cooper tour was that way
No need for just 1..50 city tour
Pearl Jam is in hibernation that what really matters
Hey Stupid Eddie Vedder

Get to see this tour maybe twice then more times 2nd leg Bakersfield-Ontario and LV..glad I don’t live in sh*t Ohio
This tour will come back to Florida- fun roadtripping for those smart enough to live a good life!
North Dakota people
South Dakota people
