I know I have saved a story a guy told about being friends with robin in the last months of his life. Was sad the way he died. I know Robin was in a Nursing home for awhile, and really none of the guys from the band didnt come see him, but no idea if anyone from the band even knew where he was and how bad it was.

I know I saved the story the dude wrote, and even converted it to epub.
I'm finding it difficult to masturbate to this. I'm trying, I just have so little to work with...

There's an interview with Crosby some time before he died where he complains repeatedly that the guys in Ratt won't give him any money, but also acknowledges they think he's just gonna buy dope with it.

There was a reason Robin died friendless. Can't blame the Ratt guys for cutting him off - Sooner or later, addicts make their friends and family cut off contact with them.

I crossed paths with Robbin a few times in the hey-day. Once at the Rainbow where we had a mutual friend so we sat in the same booth (4-5 of us) and did the usual Rainbow stuff. Pizza and long island iced teas. In addition, some friends and I used to go the Star Garden in NoHo (strip club, still there I think) once a month give or take and at the time in the late 80s the talent there was top-tier. Julie Smith who wound up in a ton of Skin-A-Max movies worked there for a good stretch of time. Besides the ladies, it was just an incredibly fun place to hang. Pool table, great music, good vibe (for a strip club). Anyway, Robbin would hang in there from time to time and he'd always say 'hey' and we'd chat. So I can certainly vouch for the fact that he was a nice chap.

What I'll always remember though was how big he was. I'm 6' 6" but in the late 80s I was about 160 or 170lbs so skinny AF (but fit, so fuck off!) Robbin was my height and thick! His wrists were as big as my ankles. Huge hands etc. Just a big f**kin' dude.
