Who's going to be the last one standing?

in 20 years the landscape is going to be a lot different. you will get to see any band in their prime, full 3d immersed experience from you living room with AI. as if you were there in 1985 or whenever. maybe 1935. it will be as real as you are alive today...with all the feels, sights, sounds, smells, etc. working. instead of kids meeting at the riverfront or arcade, like we used to do, they will never leave the house but meet up in the virtual world with all their online friends. This is coming. Any of us old bastards that are still around will be able to go into a world we used to know and some will never leave it.

We’ll be wearing VR headsets to feel like we’re seeing Poison live in ‘88 again.

You're probably right, but all the authentic touches will be off.

Slash will be in tune while Gn'R plays the Ritz, you'll hear Jon nail the high notes on "Living On a Prayer," and Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer will somehow find themselves on the 1976 Destroyer tour.

Actually, you can go to the Sphere in Vegas now. The movie version of the U2 residency is by far the closest any technology has come to recreating a concert experience and making you feel like you're seeing a real band in front of you. No goggles or headset needed.

When I saw it, I turned to my friend and said, "If someone walked in off the street and didn't know any better, they'd think they stumbled into a real show."

45! So yeah, an older gent in terms of having kids, hence the conversation.

I'll let you know, Scars.
"talking about starting a family" @ age 45?! I have 2 male acquaintances that had kids later in life. One's wife, although younger, is more age & attitude appropriate to raising a family. The other dude had a kid with a mid 20's chick who likes to live as a mid 20's chick & he's 51 & stuck doing all the child rearing, har!
