Wowowowow. This is the only first tour video I have seen. It looks like dogshit, but this was the Look What the Cat Dragged in tour at Madison Square Garden when they were opening for Ratt.

I mean, the band is on fire too, but that is some FIRST-RATE stage towelling.

The stage looked much more "sleek" after you toweled it.

How lame were Ratt on this tour? How much of Ratt’s thunder did Poison steal on this tour? It looks like Poison had a good stage and lights. Did Ratt ever try and undermine them like Quiet Riot did?

Quiet Riot sucked once you got past Metal Health and COFTN. They couldn’t write songs. Ratt’s saving grace was, they could write some songs.

You serious? Look at the size of the stage and the size of the lighting rig, then look at the little part Poison are in, and how few lights they get to use. It's basically just the front light truss.

Those big wings Ratt has on the sides make it so they can't really even address the people over there. It's like a wall.

If you look at the Ratt footage, it playas against them tho, as the band has to be too low energy and spread out to use that shit and when they aren't up on those upper decks, they are blocked from the sides and back, too. It's just a pretty stupid design, and even worse if you can't go up to the parts where you are visible. A great looking stage on its own, but it doesn't augment the performance or highlight the people on it.
