But you make a fair point about AC/DC in general. Pretty much every album post BIB is full of filler. And there was certainly a decent chunk in the Bon Scott era.

That might be true. But longevity is a thing. And KISS can play their hits for a 3 hour concert and that's what we all came to hear.
So can The Eagles, Elton John, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Who, Heart, the list is endless.
Tons of 60's and 70's bands can still put on a great show.
And who cares about their dozens of albums? They all have a greatest hits album that is awesome.

Hell no they don't. Destroyer is great. One bad song on it. Love Gun is almost all bangers too. Creatures has been already cited.

And then we have my favorite: The Elder. It's fucking fantastic. Yeah the mix is a little murky but that adds to the vibe on songs like Under The Rose and Mr. Blackwell.

Stop doing drugs. It’s not like the Schenker brothers have an unblemished track record. Michael has released a lot of garbage over the years with various lineups and name changes. As much as I’m a Scorpions fan, I don’t listen to them prior to Matthias joining them, and it’s not like their efforts over the last thirty years hasn’t been peppered with mediocrity.

KISS’s debut is all killer and no filler. It has its issues as a package, mainly the production and track listing. The songs aren’t the problem. Hotter Than Hell has the same problem. Great songs but a f*cked up track list and lame, lackluster, amateur production. They are still better than the ACB.

I don't understand theae people saying U2...especially the ones saying "U2 had a good debut album".... do you even know what their debut album was? It was not The Joshua Tree, which has no filler at all on it and is easily in the top 100 albums of all time.

Boy was their debut cd. There is substantial filler on the earlier albums and on the later albums but there was a really good run with Unforgettable Fire. The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby and Zooropa. Yes i left out rattle and hum
